About Jan

Jan has been a proud resident of Ann Arbor since 1992. Make Your Move LLC is a return, after a successful career as Director of Communications at the Ann Arbor YMCA, to her life-long passion for art and antiques. From 2001 -2011 she was sole owner and proprietor of Art & Antique Appraisals LLC, a personal property appraisal practice she ran as a certified member of Appraisers Association of America. Her current business, Make Your Move LLC, combines Jan’s appraisal expertise and enthusiasm for bringing order to what can seem to be overwhelming situations. She helps clients edit and organize their home environments to safely age-in-place or get ready to move to a new place. She is an active member of NAPO (National Association of Productivity and Organizing Professionals).
